Tobacco Barns and Wineries and Scenics Photo Tour.

Just what you were looking for: A guided ecotour of the one of the last areas in the US that hasboth small family tobacco farms and small family wineries. Both have scenic photographic opportunities. I'll take you and give you my opinions on what it takes to get a good scenic picture. Doing landscape photography in a great setting with a local photographer a fun and productive way to acquire you own images. The Bluegrass area of Kentucky has scenic beauty perfect to capture.. This one day intensive workshop is an excellent opportunity to have fun, learn composition and technique in a hands-on Photo Tour.

             Each One-day scenic workshop starts at 9:30AM when we meet at The Pocket Gallery in Richmond.

             After a short meet and greet we'll go out in the field and shoot some great pictures. 

        

            Designed for:  People of all ages and experience levels who want to participate in a fun,

            Hands-on workshop. Learn to shoot great pictures. 

            The workshop is geared to those who have their own digital camera gear and are comfortable using it.

           

            Workshop fee: $95 per person

           

            Maximum Capacity: 4 participants

 

            Typical Workshop schedule:. 

            Saturday 

            9:30 am to 1pm Photographing tobacco barns and farms and scenic landscapes.

            Around 1 pm, we’ll lunch at Acres of Land Winery. More farm and barn photography

            Around 2 pm, we’ll ride the Valley View ferry across the Kentucky River to find

            Thoroughbred Horse country to shoot horse pictures and then to Talon Winery

            Around 5 pm we’ll return to The Pocket Gallery.

                       

            Sunday (Optional, by demand additional fee)

            10am meet at the Pocket Gallery. The second day we will go to a scenic natural wonder

            Like: Natural Bridge or Red River Gorge or Pilot Knob and the Pinnacles or More Barns and

            Horse farms.

            If time allows we'll return to the Pocket Gallery to learn how to print, mat and frame your pictures.

            Sundays workshop could entail advanced topics: Macro Photography, Portraiture, Architectural
